Preservation Conference 2007
Preservation has been on everyone’s mind lately. From the First Security Bank Building in Salt Lake City to other bids to save cherished local landmarks like Brigham Young Academy and the Park City Miner’s Hospital, increasingly Utahns recognize the value of saving Utah’s historic architecture. On April 26-28, 2007, Utah Heritage Foundation hosted our first-ever conference to do so. Architects, community leaders, contractors, planners, realtors, appraisers, preservationists, and just homeowners attended the 2007 Utah Preservation Conference.
Keynote Address by Paul Goldberger

To make our first conference truly memorable, Paul Goldberger, architectural critic from the New Yorker magazine addressed the conference on architecture and trends in historic preservation.
